Release of liability, assumption of risk and photo consent

I am taking part in events run by Deccan United Sports Club (“the Club”) on November 14, 2026, including indoor volleyball, women’s throwball, warm-ups and related activities (“the Activities”).
Assumption of risk. I understand that the Activities involve physical exertion and contact with players, balls, equipment, floors, walls and nets. They carry a risk of injury, including sprains, fractures, concussion and, rarely, serious injury. I take part voluntarily and accept these risks.
Fitness to play. I confirm that I am physically fit to take part, that I have no medical condition that makes taking part unsafe, and that I will stop playing and tell an organizer if I feel unwell or am injured.
Release. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I release the Club, its organizers, volunteers, sponsors and the venue owner from any claims for injury, loss or damage arising from my taking part in the Activities, except where caused by their gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Rules and conduct. I will follow the tournament rules, the referees’ decisions, the venue’s rules and the directions of organizers. The Club may remove any player for unsafe or abusive behaviour.
First aid. I allow organizers to arrange first aid or call emergency services for me if needed. I am responsible for any resulting costs not covered by my provincial health plan.
Photos. The Club may photograph and film the event and use those images on its website and social media. If I don’t want my photo shared, I will tell the check-in desk on the day.
Players under 18 must have this waiver signed by a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on the player’s behalf.
